Why is nature necessary?

Without nature, we couldn't be here

How do we get food? How do we build? Plants.

While our world may seem complicated, the most important things come from nature.

Plants are responsible for food

When plants use photosynthesis to make their own food, we use them. When plants and crops grow, we use them for food. If there were no plants on Earth, there would be no humans. Aside from using plants for the obvious, like salads, plants are in more places and are more important than you think. Even if you are not a salad connoisseur, you still need plants. Plants are used in everything. For example, cereals like Frosted Mini-Wheats and Barbara's Shredded Wheat Cereal used wheat plants. Without plants, we wouldn't have any herbivorous animals such as cows or chickens. Humans use animals like cows and chickens for their meat as well as the things they produce, such as milk and eggs. Without plants, we couldn't have food.

Nature makes us feel better!

Nature makes us happier and less stressed. A study was conducted in Japan to test how nature makes people happier.  The participants had their hearts monitored and their blood pressure monitored, and later completed a survey on how they felt while going on a walk. Some participants went on a walk in a city, and some went on a walk in the forest. Those who walked in the forest had lower blood pressure and a lower heart rate. The participants who walked in the woods also reported having a much happier mood than those who took a walk in the city.

Why is nature necessary? It seems like a question with obvious answers, but humans continue to exploit nature. Humans cut down forests, hunt animals and pollute the air without stopping to think that nature is so important, why compromise it and exploit it?
